Treptow is the Spree at its widest and slowest. Treptower Park runs along the river with paddle boats, open-air concerts in summer and, deep inside, the enormous Soviet War Memorial with its forty-metre bronze soldier.
Next door, the old Spreepark amusement grounds sat abandoned for decades with a rusting Ferris wheel and are slowly being reopened. The Molecule Man sculpture stands in the water where Treptow, Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain meet.
The Treptow side of the Ring is quick to reach from Neukölln and Friedrichshain, so we see a lot of people here who want to avoid the busier stations.

Worn sensibly — out for eating, cleaned daily, not slept in — removable grillz are low risk. Keep up your normal dental check-ups.

Dry, in the hard case we give you. Not in a pocket, not wrapped in a napkin.
