From brief to bite in five steps
No guesswork, no heat-and-bite kit. Here is exactly what happens between your first message and the moment the grill clicks onto your teeth.
The short version
- Impressions by appointment at Düsseldorfer Straße 69, 10719 Berlin-Wilmersdorf, or at home anywhere in Berlin and Brandenburg.
- You get an exact quote by email before paying anything.
- A deposit secures your piece before casting; the balance is due at the fitting.
- Plain pieces take 5–10 working days; gold and stone-set pieces 10–15 working days.
1 — Send a brief
Use the booking form or the design brief tool. Tell us which teeth, which metal, any stones or cuts, and roughly when you need it. Reference photos help. We reply in English or German with an exact per-tooth quote and a choice of impression slots.
2 — The impression
About ten minutes. We press a soft dental material over your teeth, wait two minutes, lift it off. It happens at our appointment space at Düsseldorfer Straße 69, 10719 Berlin-Wilmersdorf — a short walk from U Hohenzollernplatz and U Spichernstraße — or we come to you, whether that's a Kreuzberg Altbau or a house in Potsdam.
Does the impression hurt?
No. It feels like biting into cold putty for two minutes.
Can you come to my home?
Yes, within Berlin and Brandenburg. Mention it in the form and we'll agree a time.
3 — Deposit and casting
When you're happy with the design and price, you pay the deposit and production starts. Your impression is poured into a stone model, the piece is modelled in wax on that model, cast, then filed, set and polished by hand.
4 — Fitting
We meet again, you put the grill on, and we check it seats firmly and evenly. Small adjustments happen on the spot. Then you pay the balance and take it home in a hard case.
5 — Living with it
- Take it out to eat.
- Rinse and brush gently after wearing; dry before storing.
- Don't sleep in it.
- Keep it in the case, not a jacket pocket on the Ringbahn.
