Grillz in Mitte, Berlin

Mitte is where most first-time visitors to Berlin end up, but the people who actually live and work here know a quieter version: the courtyards behind Hackescher Markt, the concept stores on Alte Schönhauser Straße, the late bars along Torstraße.

It is also the easiest part of the city for us to meet in. Five U-Bahn lines and the Stadtbahn cross here, so an impression appointment near Alexanderplatz or Rosenthaler Platz rarely takes anyone more than twenty minutes to reach, wherever they are coming from.

Mitte clients tend to know exactly what they want. Brief sheets from here often arrive with reference photos, a karat already chosen and a note about which tooth should carry the stone.

Who books from here

Fashion and retail people from the Scheunenviertel, office workers around Friedrichstraße and visitors staying a week who want a piece to take home.

Meeting for the impression

There is no shop to walk into. We agree a meeting point near Alexanderplatz or Rosenthaler Platz for the ten-minute impression, then arrange the fitting the same way once the piece is ready.

Rates are the same everywhere we work: sterling silver €80 per tooth, 14K gold €350 per tooth, white, yellow and rose gold priced alike. Plain pieces take 5–10 working days, gold and stone-set pieces 10–15 working days, counted from the impression and deposit. Rates per tooth

Asked in Mitte

I'm only in Berlin for ten days — is that enough?

For plain silver, usually yes: 5–10 working days from impression and deposit. Gold and stones take 10–15, so book the impression on day one.

Can we meet near my office on Friedrichstraße?

Often. Tell us your area and a few time windows in the form and we'll suggest a spot within walking distance.

Do you do a single tooth?

Yes. A single cap is the most common first order from Mitte, often in 14K yellow or white gold.
