Grillz in Tiergarten, Berlin

Half of Tiergarten is the park itself — two square kilometres of lawns, canals and beer gardens that split the city between east and west. The other half is a strange, quiet mix: embassies, the Hansaviertel's post-war modernist blocks, and the glass towers around Potsdamer Platz.

That mix shows up in who books from here. We get requests from people living in the Hansaviertel flats, from staff at the offices around the Kulturforum, and from students at the TU campus on the park's western edge.

Because the area sits on the Stadtbahn, it works well as a halfway point between east and west Berlin when two friends want to get their impressions done together.

Who books from here

Hansaviertel residents, office staff from Potsdamer Platz and TU students cutting across the park.

Meeting for the impression

We usually meet near S Bellevue or Potsdamer Platz. Both are a short ride from almost anywhere on the S-Bahn ring or the Stadtbahn.

Rates are the same everywhere we work: sterling silver €80 per tooth, 14K gold €350 per tooth, white, yellow and rose gold priced alike. Plain pieces take 5–10 working days, gold and stone-set pieces 10–15 working days, counted from the impression and deposit. Rates per tooth

Asked in Tiergarten

Two of us want matching sets — can we come together?

Yes. We take both impressions at the same appointment and quote each set separately, priced per tooth.

Is white gold more expensive than yellow?

No. Yellow, white and rose gold cost the same at the same karat.

Can I wear grillz to work?

That's up to your workplace. Because they're removable, plenty of people wear theirs after hours only.
